Applications

STARACID L is used for tack-coat bituminous emulsions, for roads construction and maintenance.

Advantages

STARACID L is used for rapid and medium setting bituminous emulsions. STARACID L is solved in the water-phase batch tank (35- 45°C ) and them saponified using hydrochloric acid before the emulsification process.

Modality of Use

STARACID L dosage varies in according to applications and stability of bituminous emulsions. Normally the batching varies from 0,15% to 0,45% of the final bitumen weight.

Storage

STARACID L can be stored for 36 months in original and closed pack. In function of the storage temperature the product can assume a doughy consistency, however the qualitative characteristics are not at risk.
