STARBAS LB is a liquid emulsifier, based on alkylbenzenesulfonic acid, for anionic emulsions production.

Applications

STARBAS LB is used for bitumen emulsions for roads construction and maintenance.

Advantages

STARBAS LB is a ecological emulsifier for fast and medium-setting emulsions production. STARBAS LB should be dispersed in the water-phase batch tank at 35- 45°C and subsequently saponified with caustic soda.

Modality of Use

STARBAS LB dosage varies according to applications and stability of bituminous emulsions. Normally the dosage varies from 0,15% to 0,45% of the final emulsion weight.
