Applications

STARDOPE 140 is a super active adhesion promoter with high performances even at low dosage. It can be used as adhesion promoter in bitumen emulsion, hot mixed asphalt's and bituminous paintings.

Advantages

The use of STARDOPE 140 is indicated in presence of aggregates difficult to cover, in conditions of low temperature and in presence of humidity. STARDOPE 140 is stable to the high storage temperatures of bitumen ( 180°C ) and even to the extended heating time.

Modality of Use

The percentage use is in accordance to the work conditions. Normally they vary from 0,1% to 0,3% of the bitumen weight for hot mixed asphalt. From 0,3% to 0,8% of the bitumen weight for bitumen emulsion. STARDOPE 140 must be added in the bitumen storage tank manually or by automatic feed pump.

200 kg net in steel drums. Available in tank at request .

Storage

STARDOPE 620 can be stored for 36 months in original and closed pack. In function of the storage temperature the product can assume a doughy consistency, however the qualitative characteristics are not at risk .
