STARDOPE 235 is a liquid additive adhesion promoter for bitumen's based on alkylamidopolyamine in vegetable oils.

Applications

STARDOPE 235 is an adhesion promoter produced especially for hot mixed asphalt's, that guarantees a perfectly stable tie between bitumen and aggregates independently from their chemical nature.

Advantages

STARDOPE 235 is stable to the high storage temperature of the bitumen ( 180°C ) and even to extended heating time. The use of STARDOPE 235 avoids the typical phenomena like stripping and crumbling of the mixed asphalt layers, assures a greater flexibility in the use of the mixed asphalt.

Modality of Use

The percentage use is in accordance to the work conditions. Normally they vary from 0.2% to 0.5% of the bitumen weight. STARDOPE 235 must be added to the bitumen before the aggregates, it can be poured in the bitumen storage tank manually or by automatic feed pump.

200 kg net in steel drums. Available in tank at request.

Storage

STARDOPE 235 is stable for a minimum of three years in its original closed containers at room temperature. In function of the storage temperature the product can assume a doughy consistency, however the qualitative characteristics are not at risk.
