STARDOPE 620 is a liquid adhesion promoter additive for bitumen, based on alkylamidopolyamine in vegetables oils .

Applications

STARDOPE 620 is an adhesion promoter produced especially for hot mixed asphalt's, that guarantees a perfectly stable tie between bitumen and aggregates independently from their chemical nature .

Advantages

STARDOPE 620 is stable at high storage temperature of bitumen ( 180°C ) and to extended heating time. The STARDOPE 620 use guarantees high flexibility in the use of asphalt, in particular: use at low temperatures, in presence of humidity and far away from production plant .

Modality of Use

The percentage use is in accordance to the work conditions. Normally they vary from 0,3% to 0,5% of the bitumen weight. STARDOPE 620 must be added to the bitumen before of aggregates, it can be poured in the bitumen storage tank manually or by automatic feed pump .

Package

200 kg net in steel drums. Available in tank at request .

Storage

STARDOPE 620 can be stored for 36 months in original and closed pack. In function of the storage temperature the product can assume a doughy consistency, however the qualitative characteristics are not at risk .
