STARPITCH PS is an acidifier for bitumen's, based on fatty acid, for anionic bituminous emulsions.

Applications

STARPITCH PS is a product realized for bituminous emulsions, mainly basic, destined to the roads construction and maintenance.

Advantages

Adding STARPITCH to bitumen, the value of acidity of the bitumen increases, rendering such values compatible with the emulsionability characteristics. In fact, in order to obtain good basic bituminous emulsions, is necessary that the bitumen base, beyond very specific physical characteristics, must have also a minimum acidity value.

Modality of Use

STARPITCH PS dosage varies in accordance to the chemicals characteristic of the bitumen. Normally the dosage varies from 4,0% to 6,0% of the bitumen weight.
